One Day - Traditional Newar

An excursion in kind far from the agitation of the city, to walk in the middle of the rice plantations capped by the wind, to visit traditional Newars villages, it is what we propose to you for this day.

We will go directly to Bungamati and we will make you discover this old village, its temples and small lanes. From there, we will go to foot towards Khokana, while crossing the peaceful countryside. (Possibility of taking the bus) It is in this second Newar village that we will be able to visit the traditional mustard oil factory. And, to finish our day, we will go to the small village Newar de Kirtipur.

This program proposes to us one day with the variation of the city and allows us to discover the origins of the Newar culture like their lifestyle!

• Departure in direction of the village of Bungamati in the private bus
• Visit village and temples of Bungamati
• Towards 11 hours, departure with foot (20 minutes) for the village of Khokana
